Google Analytics

Connect Google Analytics to see how players use your storefront.

Every store gets built-in visit stats under Settings → Visits, on every plan: views per day for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, your most viewed pages, and the sites visitors came from (such as google.com or discord.com). They use no cookies and store no personal data, so they don't need a cookie banner.

For more detail, Airupt can also send page views from your published storefront to Google Analytics 4. This is available on the Pro and Studio plans.

Get your measurement ID

  1. In Google Analytics, open Admin and select your property.
  2. Go to Data streams and open (or create) a Web stream for your storefront URL.
  3. Copy the Measurement ID. It starts with G-, for example G-XXXXXXXXXX.

Add it to your project

  1. Open your project in the Airupt dashboard.
  2. Go to the project settings.
  3. Paste the measurement ID into the Google Analytics field and save.
  4. Publish your storefront so the change goes live.

Analytics only runs on the published storefront, not in the editor or draft preview.

Depending on where your players live, you may need their consent before loading analytics. Make sure your storefront's privacy information covers it.
